Introduction
A few things to note before we begin.
1. It is important that you follow this course in the order that it is set out. Your problems with food are multilayered and they have to be peeled back one at a time, in the right order. Imagine that you are stuck in the middle of a maze. You have tried time after time to find the way out, but no matter how many times you try, you always hit a dead end. Well, here's the good news, Jesus is coming to meet you in the middle of the maze and he is going to lead you out, one step at a time. Jesus is the expert, so let him do his job. As soon as you start thinking that you know better, maybe you don't need to take that turn, or you can skip that bit, you will get lost again. Why? Because Jesus will simply step back and let you go your own way until you are ready to listen. When a lifeguard goes to rescue a drowning person he has to wait until they stop struggling before he moves in to rescue them. You have to stop struggling and let Jesus rescue you.
2. Do not weigh yourself until you are told to.
3. Eat whatever you want to eat, until you are told otherwise.
4. Try to keep a journal throughout the next few weeks. The Holy Spirit will reveal things to you and it will help if you keep a record of them.
